These terms are an agreement between you and Tracepath ("we", "us"). By using Tracepath, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Tracepath is

Tracepath is a study app for the CompTIA A+ 220-1201 and 220-1202 exams. It's in a free public beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and we may need to reset data while the beta runs.

2. Not affiliated with CompTIA

CompTIA and A+ are trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. Tracepath is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by CompTIA. Our questions and labs are original, written from CompTIA's public exam objectives. They are not real exam questions. Studying with Tracepath doesn't guarantee that you'll pass any exam.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to make an account. If you're under 18, have a parent or guardian read these terms with you.

4. Your account

Keep access to your email and Google account secure. You're responsible for what happens on your Tracepath account. Accounts are for one person.

5. Using Tracepath fairly

Don't:

• Copy, scrape, or redistribute our questions, explanations, or labs, or use them to build another product.
• Use bots or automated tools to access the app.
• Try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the service.

If you find a security problem, tell us through Send feedback, and don't access data that isn't yours.

6. Our content

We own Tracepath's questions, explanations, labs, design, and code. You may use them for your own personal study.

7. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Tracepath without owing you anything.

8. Paid plans

The beta is free. If we add paid plans later, we'll show the price and terms before you buy, and we'll never charge you without your clear consent.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Tracepath and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we may end the beta.

10. No warranty

Tracepath is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep content accurate, but we don't promise it's error-free, complete, or current with every exam change.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or exam results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. During the free beta, that's $0.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Galveston County, Texas.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app. If you keep using Tracepath after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
