How it sticks

Read it.
Every lesson opens with a short study guide. It starts on a real ticket, takes about four minutes and checks you halfway through.
A dental office just got a new firewall: “Since the install, the front desk can’t pull email and our support guy can’t remote into the server. What do I tell the installer?”
TCP or UDP: how the data travels
Before the port number comes the transport. TCP opens with a three-way handshake, numbers every segment and resends anything that isn’t acknowledged. UDP just sends.
Quick check: a service needs low overhead and can live with an occasional lost packet. TCP or UDP?
UDP. It skips the handshake and acknowledgments.
Answer it.
Ten questions a lesson, most of them tickets in the user’s own words. Every wrong option tells you why it’s wrong.

Miss it, and it comes back.
